Hinduism for Children

All sub-centres and satsang groups of the Centre conduct classes at which the basic principles of Hinduism, the lives and teachings of the Holy Trinity, the Bhagavad Gita and common prayers are taught with special emphasis on imparting positive family values.

Children's Cultural Festival

The Children's Cultural Festival is held annually, both in Northern KwaZulu-Natal and Southern KwaZulu-Natal. The programme consists of sketches, dance items, devotional singing, scriptural chanting and speeches.

Youth Functions

The Centre holds two annual half-day Youth Day functions at its Headquarters, one celebrating Swami Vivekananda's birthday (12 January) and the other on National Youth Day, 16 June. Youth functions are held at the sub-centres and satsang groups throughout the year. The programmes vary and include half-day Vedanta retreats, satsangs, debates, discourses on both spiritual and secular topics, question and answer sessions, cultural items etc.
