Weekly Saturday Satsang

Date: Saturdays
Time: 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Venue: Headquarters, 8 Montreal Road, Glen Anil, Durban. For a roadmap to the Centre please click here.

Every Saturday the Centre has public satsang from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. The tentative programme includes: Singing of Bhajans & Kirtans, chanting and a discourse.

Guru Purnima

Date: Sunday, 25 July 2010
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:15 noon
Venue: Headquarters, 8 Montreal Road, Glen Anil, Durban.

The Centre will observe Guru Purnima on Sunday, 25th July 2010. The programme at Headquarters, Glen Anil, is as follows:

  • 8:00am - 9:00am - Puja
  • 9:30am - 10:00am - Satsang in the shrine
  • 10:15am - 12:15pm - Discourses by Swami Vimokshananda and Swami Saradaprabhananda and cultural items in the Swami Nishcalananda Hall
Lunch will be served thereafter.

Education Conference

Date: Saturday, 31 July 2010
Time: 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Venue: Headquarters, Durban

The Centre will be holding an Education Conference to commemorate the 85th Birth Anniversary of our Founder, Sri Swami Nischalananda, on Saturday 31st July 2010 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the Swami Nischalananda Hall at Headquarters, Glen Anil. The following papers will be presented:

  • Teaching Children with Learning Disabilities by Miss N Singh
  • Exposing our Minds to the Great Minds of History by Miss J Thakurpersadh
  • The Teacher, a Role Model in Value Education by Mr N Sewrathan
Swami Vimokshananda will deliver the Inaugural Address. Supper will be served after the function.
