Devotees at Satsang

The heart of the Centre's activities is the Sri Ramakrishna Temple at the Headquarters. The spiritual progress of the individual and thereby the community at large forms the central thrust of the activities of the Centre. The Centre has a regular spiritual routine which all sadhakas (aspirants) and visitors are expected to follow. Regular periods of silent meditation, ritual worship, satsang and discourses are held.

Midday food offering and silent japa	12:00 p.m. (noon)
Sri Ramakrishna Arati, Evening Hymns and Reading	5:00 p.m.
Silent Meditation	5:30 - 6:15 p.m.
Friday
Sri Sarada Devi Women's Circle at Headquarters chants the "Sri Sri Sarada Devi Stotram" by Swami Abhedananda (Monastic Disciple of Sri Ramakrishna) eleven times.	Morning
Saturday
Public Satsang: singing of Bhajans & Kirtans, chanting and a discourse.	4:00- 5:30 p.m.
Hanuman Chalisa Recital
On the first Saturday of each quarter of the year, the Hanuman Chalisa is recited eleven times.
